Hi,

I watched this video about the airplane crunches and tried the exercise:
http://wekinesis.com/en/learn/videos/airplane-crunches-with-kinesis

What i am wondering about, is why this exercise is an abdominal crunch? When pulling back, I straighten my back, and so it seems more to be for the lower back.

What do you think about that?

The movement is a single leg hip hinge with an upper body pull (or
Row, if you prefer exercise nomenclature). It's an excellent core and
stabilization exercise.
